Who is she?

Albany Andaluz is a multidisciplinary designer/ artist specializing in branding, illustration, motion graphics, and experiential design. With a strong focus on storytelling and cultural engagement, Andaluz merges technical proficiency and research-driven insights to create impactful art direction that resonates with diverse audiences.

A lifelong up-to-no-good-er and innovative thinker, Andaluz has contributed to a range of projects, from corporate branding initiatives to community-driven art collaborations. Her work often reflects an interest in cultural heritage, human interaction and emerging technology, blending traditional techniques with modern aesthetics to craft compelling visual narratives.

Notable accomplishments include receiving the 2020 Darryl Chappell Grant to Afrodescendant Artists, press features in BronxNetTV, ArtForum, and Aperture, and the 2024 Connor Merit Award.

Beyond her design work, Andaluz is an avid tourist, in constant pursuit of inspiration in the storytelling and aesthetics of different cultures nearby and afar. She is committed to utilizing art, design, and technology to foster meaningful connections, often partnering with cultural institutions to bring unique creative visions to life.
